" I’m afraid for all these kids out here. I’m worried about them.
Sometimes the gathering is so small out here.
Or sometimes it’s so big . Whichever way it goes. I’m petrified.
Because before the kids even show up tonight, the officers are here.
We have been surrounded.
There’s no privacy.
I'm devastated because of what happend to Trayvon.
I'm devastated by what happened to Ramarley.
These are young black kids, like Kimani.
When I look at their parents, I see myself,
and wondering how is it gonna be for me,
how many times the system gonna fail the young kids.
And I’m just sayin’ the system is failing us
and these are American children, you know,
and they have their civil rights
and their civil rights has been taken from them.
So, I’m saying: We are Ramarley Graham,
and we are Shantel Davis
and we are Trayvon too,
not just Kimani Gray.
So we are out here fighting for all the young kids,
who don’t know their rights, that don’t have a chance,
or don’t think they have a chance to make it out here. "
